No one was hurt in the incident overnight in the village of Beitillu in the occupied West Bank, a police spokeswoman said.

One young woman was arrested for “disrupting the peace”, police says. The identity of the assailants is unclear. Israeli forces have killed almost 100 Palestinians, mostly attackers, during the same period.
Hebrew Channel 2 reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a government meeting in November, entertained a proposal that suggested revoking the residency of thousands of Palestinian Jerusalemites. A Palestinian bystander, trying to help the girl and pull her towards the Palestinian side of the checkpoint right after she was shot, was shot in the mouth by Israeli forces.
Border Police shot the assailants, according to Israel Police, which said one died at the scene and the other at a Jerusalem hospital.
The attack drew renewed attention to Jewish extremism and accusations Israel had not done enough to prevent such violence. Palestinians say the attacks stem from despair at almost half a century of Israeli military occupation.
The report notes that Israeli sanctions on Gaza have made freedom of movement and goods nearly non-existent, and have contributed to an economy that the World Bank said is on the “verge of collapse”.
The agency said it arrested 25 suspected Hamas members who operated in the area of Abu Dis east of Jerusalem and in Bethlehem, in the West Bank.
A court official said security had been stepped up outside the home of a judge presiding over the case, and postings on social media, including a photograph of the jurist emblazoned with the word “guilty”, accused him of failing to stop Shin Bet mistreatment of the suspects. Some have claimed that Israel’s Shin Bet security service has tortured them to exact a confession for an attack that was deeply embarrassing for Israel.
