According to the report, after Kerry failed to make progress on the Palestinian front, Netanyahu convened the cabinet to discuss recently acquired information that the Palestinians were planning new processes against Israel in the diplomatic arena.

Yehya Taha, 21, was shot in the head and later died, according to Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman Mohammed Awawdeh.
Over half of them have been alleged perpetrators of stabbing, shooting and vehicle ramming attacks aimed at Israeli civilians and security forces.
The two deaths were the latest in a two-month wave of violence.
Earlier Friday, another Palestinian rammed his auto into Israeli soldiers at a bus station near the Israeli settlement of Kfar Adumim in the West Bank and was shot dead, police said. Yaalon said attackers have managed to get through the structure in recent weeks.
While the bloodshed has been stoked in part by Muslim anger over Jewish visits to the Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem – a site holy to both Muslims and Jews, who refer to it as Temple Mount – Israeli security services have echoed Palestinian officials in identifying failed peace talks as another cause.
Yaalon told lawmakers that construction of the fence will take a year. Egypt is struggling to put down an Islamic insurgency in the volatile northern Sinai Peninsula, which borders Israel.
Israeli troops also seized eight buses belonging to public transport contractor Al-Tamimi in the West Bank city of Nablus, claiming they’d be used to ferry protesters to checkpoints. He was also killed by security forces. “We call on the Israeli government to investigate and prosecute, and act now to cease the deliberate victimisation of these drivers”.
Standing next to Mr Kerry in Jerusalem, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed the Palestinian violence on “sources of incitement”, linking the attacks to battles against terrorism going on around the globe.

Palestinian leaders have accused Israel of excessive force and blamed the violence on Israel’s 48-year-old occupation. Palestinians accuse Israel of using excessive force in suppressing violence.
