Palestinian Shot Dead in West Bank
The army said the bus company was linked to militants from the Islamist group Hamas and had mobilised Palestinians for violent demonstrations.

Israeli troops shot and killed two Palestinians after they rammed their cars into soldiers in separate attacks in the West Bank on Friday as the country’s defense minister urged Israelis to brace themselves for more violence, saying he can not see an end to the near-daily Palestinian attacks.

Palestinians accuse Israel of using excessive force in suppressing violence.

There has been a wave of stabbings, shootings and vehicle rammings by Palestinians against Israelis in recent weeks, as well as clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces. Palestinians, meanwhile, have said it is rooted in frustrations over Israel’s nearly-half-century-long occupation of the West Bank.
