Yesterday, four Israelis were wounded in two attacks in the occupied West Bank, including a soldier and a civilian stabbed in Hebron by a Palestinian who was later shot dead.

The sources said that Meswadi is the 118th Palestinian to be killed by Israeli fire since the beginning of unrest in the West Bank and Jerusalem in early October 2015. Large army and police forces are searching for the auto and suspected shooter. Ersheid is the brother of high school student Dania Ersheid, who was shot dead by Israeli border police in late October in Hebron.

According to a Defense Ministry statement, the Palestinian assailant opened fire from several dozen yards away. There were no Israelis injured in the attack at the Gilboa crossing near Jenin, according to ministry spokeswoman Arielle Heffez.

A horrifying video of a young Palestinian girl brandishing a huge knife and threatening to “stab, stab, stab, stab” Israelis has appeared online. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties.

More than half of the Palestinians killed have been alleged attackers. The army confirmed the driver was killed by the soldiers’ fire.

Israel’s agriculture minister, Uri Ariel, said Friday during a radio interview that Palestinians should not be allowed to drive in and around Gush Etzion Junction south of Jerusalem, which saw many similar attacks in recent weeks.

In the second incident in Hebron, the army said troops fired at Palestinians who attacked them with rocks and petrol bombs after non-lethal riot-dispersal measures failed.

Palestinian officials said that the weak worldwide donations for the rebuilding process was the major reason for the delayed progress.
