Boston – Secretary of State John Kerry says the violence between Israelis and Palestinians could “spin out of control” unless they take immediate steps to ease tensions.

Troops shot 21-year-old Yehya Taha in the head, according to Palestinian health ministry spokesman Mohammed Awawdeh, and the youth later died of his wounds in a Ramallah hospital.
The health ministry said in an emailed press statement that among the 101 killed Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem, there are 22 children and four women, adding that more than 4,000 were injured.
A Palestinian stabbed an Israeli in the neck in the southern West Bank on Wednesday and was shot dead by forces at the scene, the army and a hospital said.

Tsipra said that his country worries most about the freeze in the political process and the lack of progress which is needed to regenerate hope among Palestinians who deserve it.
An Israeli official said government officials, however, have rejected the military’s proposals. The right-wing prime minister tried to compare resistance to Israel’s occupation of Palestine to the wave of Islamic State (Isis) terrorist attacks from the Sinai desert to Paris.
An Israeli official said Netanyahu complained to Kerry about alleged Palestinian incitement and said any confidence-building gestures for the Palestinians would first require calm.
Israeli media revealed that prior to the recent escalation in violence, Israel’s defence force had made recommendations to improve the situation in the Palestinian territories. Children as young as 11 have stabbed Israelis in the current unrest.

The latest bill passed a preliminary vote, but would require further approvals to become law.
