Palestinian woman shot after stabbing officer

An unnamed witness quoted by the Palestinian news agency Maan said the woman had experienced an electrical malfunction with the vehicle, causing a small fire and the airbag to deploy.
Jaabis shouted “Allah Akbar” (God is greatest) before the explosion went off, according to the security forces.
The officer, who was wearing a protective vest, was not injured.

He said Ms. Zoabi had been quoted in a Hamas-linked publication calling for thousands of Palestinians join “a real intifada”, or an uprising against Israeli occupation.
