The march in al-Khalil, which was called after Friday prayers by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas on another Day of Rage, was apparently the biggest in size, with reports saying it turned into a deadly confrontation between the Palestinians and the Israeli forces.

Twelve Israelis have been stabbed to death, shot dead or run over and killed in attacks by Palestinians. The mother had light injuries to the chest and limbs; a son sustained a gunshot wound in the leg and three young girls had minor scratches, he said.

Since October 1, Israeli troops or settlers have killed at least 84 Palestinians, including unarmed protesters, bystanders and alleged attackers.

The director of Hebron’s al-Ahly hospital, Jehad Shawar, told Voice of Palestine radio that 20-30 undercover soldiers arrived at the clinic at around 3 am and entered with someone in a wheelchair pretending to be pregnant.

According to statement published by al-Haq, a Ramallah-based human rights organisation, Israeli forces have employed a “policy of disproportionate indiscriminate and excessive use of force against Palestinians, including paramedics and health facilities”. Hospital workers identified him as Shalaldeh’s cousin, Abdallah, and said he was shot as he emerged from a bathroom. Another time, they entered an east Jerusalem hospital to confiscate documents. Israel’s Shin Bet intelligence agency later arrested five Palestinians it said were part of a Hamas cell that carried out the attack.

This recent wave of terror attacks must be seen in the context of rampant Palestinian incitement, particularly with regard to conspiracy theories being circulated about Israeli intentions regarding Jerusalem’s Temple Mount/Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

Cosmetics are among the range of products that will now need clear labelling, with suggested wording for products that originate from settlements having “Israeli Settlement” added in brackets at the end of the sentence, such as “Product from West Bank (Israeli Settlement)'”.

Clashes have spread throughout Hebron and the surrounding villages, according to local media reports. A video of the incident shows the auto which she was driving heading towards the soldiers at a speed slow enough to allow the soldiers to jump out of the way and then begin shooting heavily at the vehicle.
