Israeli police recently arrested members of a Jewish extremist group suspected of fire-bombing a Palestinian house in a summer attack that killed a toddler and his parents, authorities said.

On Thursday, two other Palestinian men were gunned down by Israeli forces in separate incidents in the occupied territories. “Five months ago I was with you”, Trump said, pointing to his recent past as a much sought-after political donor who filled the campaign coffers of both Republicans and Democrats.

Although details of the attack remain unclear, according to an initial police investigation, the officer was stabbed in the arm by the assailant while checking his identification on Hanevi’im Street, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Israeli security forces have killed more than 100 Palestinians, the majority of whom were shot after attacking Israelis.

A wave of violence since October 1 has so far claimed the lives of more than 120 people, including 107 Palestinians and 17 Israelis.

A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli forces on Friday after he stabbed a soldier in the neck, northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

The attacks led to widespread condemnation globally as well as by Israelis and Palestinians, but as yet no one has been charged for the killings.

The army even called on the government to allow more Palestinians to legally build homes in Area C, the 60 percent of the West Bank under sole Israeli control. Violence began over tensions at a sensitive holy site in Jerusalem, sacred to Jews and Muslims, and quickly escalated and spread to the West Bank, Israel and the Gaza border. At least 105 Palestinians have also died, including 70 said by Israel to be attackers.

The Israeli media also reported that a Palestinian was killed after he drove a vehicle and ran it over Israeli soldiers near the town of Sliwad north of Ramallah, adding that two soldiers were injured; one of them critically.

Israel says Palestinian incitement has fuelled the attacks. He soon drew a smattering of boos after refusing to say whether Jerusalem should serve as the undivided capital of Israel, a priority for many in America’s pro-Israel lobby. The Palestinian leadership has blamed frustration rooted in decades of Israeli occupation.

After warning shots were ignored, “forces fired live fire and tank rounds” and the suspects retreated, she said.
