Palestinians killed following stabbing attack in Jerusalem
One Israeli has been stabbed to death and a second apparently shot dead accidentally by police during an attack by two Palestinians in Jerusalem. Israeli forces or armed civilians have killed at least 120 Palestinians, 72 of whom authorities described as assailants, while others died in clashes with security forces.

Two tear gas canisters were thrown into a Palestinian home near Ramallah on Tuesday by suspected Jewish extremists, without hurting the family there at the time, Israeli police said.
Prime Minister said Israel would win what he called a “continuous terrorist attack”. “But that’s something that we continue to look into, both the Israeli National Police and internal security”.
Since mid-September, a wave of Palestinian attacks have killed 19 Israelis and an American student.
In the video, uploaded to YouTube by newspaper Haaretz after the stabbing near Old City’s Jaffa Gate, the bystander can be seen beating the suspect who is lying on the ground.
Three months of near daily attacks by Palestinians have kept Jerusalem’s streets quieter than usual, but that hasn’t stopped Israeli teacher Talia Malek from purposely taking public transportation and attempting to keep up her daily routine despite deep anxieties.
The family was asleep and unharmed in attack, said police spokeswoman Luba Samri, adding that an investigation was underway.
Palestinians have grown frustrated with Israel’s occupation, the complete lack of progress in peace efforts and their own fractured leadership, while global efforts to end the violence have so far failed. Later in the day another of the three, Ofer Ben ari, 46, passed away having suffered gunshot wounds from Israeli police who were attempting to neutralize the terrorists.

Wednesday’s incident comes amid a recent surge in violence fueled by Israeli restrictions on worshippers at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa mosque complex, which many Jews revere as a vestige of their biblical temples and is also Islam’s holiest site outside Saudi Arabia.
