In June, the same national court judge had advised the Spanish government to submit the case of the 2010 Israeli attack on the Turkish-flagged aid flotilla to Gaza to the global Criminal Court.

It said the other home, near Ramallah, belonged to a man who killed an Israeli who was on his way home from a basketball game.

“We are not to blame for the terrorism directed against us, just as the French are not to blame for the terrorism directed against them”.

“Our ambulance reached the scene, and the military refused to allow them and threatened them and told them to leave”, he said. He was arrested by Israeli security forces the following month. His wife, three daughters and another son had minor injuries.

“If a survey is conducted among Palestinians about Friday’s attacks, I can’t wait to see what it reveals”, Marcus said dryly.

The bloodshed has been fueled by a dispute over access to a site in Jerusalem holy to both Muslims and Jews, as well as by the deadlock in Palestinian statehood talks. The modern Palestinian national movement, from its inception, was a terrorist movement that aimed to extinguish Israel as a sovereign Jewish state through “hatred and brutality”. At least 14 Israelis have been killed in stabbings and shootings, or by being run down by cars. Israel says 51 of the Palestinians were involved in assaults and the rest died in clashes with security forces.

Violence since the start of October has killed 83 people on the Palestinian side – including one Arab Israeli – and 12 Israelis.

Israeli troops in the early morning hours on Monday razed the home of Muhammad Abu Shaheen in the West Bank Qaliyanda refugee camp.

Hundreds of residents in the Qalandia hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli forces during the raid. The Palestinian ministry reported that 22 other Palestinians were wounded in clashes in the West Bank. The prime minister called for the world to “wake up and unite” to combat and defeat the wave of terror. According to the writer, Israel had been seeking retaliation for recent European Union guidelines labeling products from Israeli settlements.
