Palin too far away to speak at RNC
Donald Trump is claiming that he didn’t invite Sarah Palin to the Republican convention because Alaska is too far away from Cleveland, Ohio. Since her endorsement, she has campaigned for the billionaire businessman. Palin hasn’t turned out to be the Trump campaign dynamo that supporters initially predicted she would be.

In an interview with the Washington Examiner on Thursday, Trump said that Palin was asked to speak but decided against it because of how far the venue is from her home in Alaska.
“She was asked”, Trump told the Washington Examiner in a phone interview on Thursday. She went on to say he was a “self-made” man capable of making America great again. “We love Sarah. Little bit hard because of, you know, it’s a long ways away”.
There will also be sports celebrities such professional golfer Natalie Gulbis and conservative former star quarterback Tim Tebow, and governors Rick Scott of Florida and Scott Walker of Wisconsin, reports the New York Times. Pence did not appear on the list of scheduled speakers.
“You know, when you have [Ultimate Fighting Championship President] Dana White and you have some of the people we have on…” “We want people to be inspired”.

The list also includes the names of two of Trump’s possible vice presidential running mates: former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will be speaking.
