PTI Chairman Imran Khan is going to set a new and odd tradition today by addressing the nation live on Panama leaks from his residence in Bani Gala despite refusal of the government to allow his address on the state-owned Pakistan Television.

However, Khurshid Shah endorsed Imran Khan’s demand and supported the idea that the speeches of the opposition members must also be broadcasted on the Pakistan Television.
The minister referred to Imran’s so called address in which he refused to answers the questions of journalists and avoided giving clarifications. Instead of seeking explanation from prime minister, ministers are blaming the hospital. Hurling allegations is the government’s way of defence and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust was being targeted to save corruption of the rulers, he added.
PTI has announced it will hold its founding day rally on April 24.
He also asked the state-run PTV to arrange his address to the nation on the issue just like it did for the prime minister.
“If Imran Khan wishes to have the FIA investigate the claims made by the Panama leaks, the Interior Ministry is ready for it, but this decision is not up to the Interior Ministry”, said Nisar. He said PTI’s protest would continue until the prime minister tenders his resignation.
Imran criticised the cabinet ministers for defending the ruling family.
In a press conference at Kallar Syedan in Rawalpindi on Saturday, the interior minister however said that the PTI should alter its Jalas venue and arrange it in Kallar Syedan. “Mr. Imran Khan would address the nation from his office using DSNG/ Live OB Van”. Bilawal said in his tweet.
The also minister said that for four days he had been trying to determine what offshore companies are. PM Nawaz Sharif tried to mislead the nation through his address, he said.
Khan said he is one political leader of the country who does not have any case registered against him.

“Is there no responsibility placed on NAB (National Accountability Bureau), FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) and other institutions that do accountability (after these revelations)?” Khan was not even opposition leader, he said.
