Pangu Announces Jailbreak for iOS 9.2

Previous rumors have said that Pangu and other jailbreak teams are foregoing iOS 9.3 in favor of iOS 10, and there are reports that the delay for a new jailbreak iOS stems from difficulties in breaching iOS 9.2. So far, only a Chinese version of the tool is available with instructions in Chinese, though an English edition is expected to pop up soon, Redmond Pie noted.

Just like a regular iOS release from Apple, the new Pangu jailbreak will certainly have issues and foremost are bugs that thankfully will be fixed by upcoming patches from the Chinese hacking team. But Apple released iOS 9.3.3 with updates that can stop this Jail Break. However, it is also mentioned on their official page that the jailbreak is only for 64-bit devices.

In such a scenario, jailbreaking should be avoided but if you have to access to exclusive apps that are not available on iOS app Store, you can “carefully” give it a shot.

Since Pangu’s latest tool is semi-untethered/tethered, it requires users to get their iPhones or iPads jailbroken every time you reboot it. Here’s how to re-jailbreak with Pangu on iOS 9.3.3 after reboot. This latest tool will aid the apple users to break their current iOS.

The jailbreak will be supported by a slew of Apple devices starting iPhone 5s and newer devices, iPod Touch 6G, and iPad Mini 2 and other newer tablets.

Users do take a risk when they jailbreak their devices as the practice is not sanctioned by Apple and can create security risks.

It’s because the tool does not accept Apple ID emails with special characters.

Then, the Parallels 11 software should be installed and when prompted, iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak users need to select the Install Windows or another OS from a DVD or image file option.

Given the fact that the last jailbreak that was released on the market was last October, the tech world has been buzzing for more changes to come out, particularly for iOS 9.2 – 9.3.3. “Be cautious with the tweaks you want to install, and make sure you already made a full backup of your iOS devices”.
