Panthers assistant watches his son catch Packers’ Hail Mary miracle

Hails yes! Actress Olivia Munn reacted perfectly to her boyfriend Aaron Rodgers’ astounding, game-winning Hail Mary touchdown pass during the Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions game on Thursday, Dec. 3.

There’s no such thing as an easy Hail Mary. Lacy finished the day with just one yard from scrimmage before reportedly suffering an ankle injury. Head coach Mike McCarthy previously called it an “internal football decision” but didn’t provide any details.

Lions fans? Not so much. There was no insane bounce, no pile of players fighting over the ball while falling to the ground.

Here is my first ever review of this blog for the game last night between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions in Detroit.

A play before it was a Richard Rodgers toss to Aaron Rodgers that helped set up the hail mary. The limited pass rush allowed that.

“A lot of times, we practice it from like the 50 or maybe the (minus) 45”, Rodgers said. “I couldn’t write a better script than that!” The Lions shutout the Packers offense in the first half, holding Green Bay to just 78 yards at the break. On the previous play, the Packers had tried a short pass followed by laterals.

“No, we weren’t in the position to defend that”.

There were still six Detroit players left to defend five eligible receivers.

The Green Bay Packers knew they were in trouble and that only a miracle could possibly save them from falling lower in the league rankings.

“Everyone tries to get to the end zone”.

“The reaction on the sideline, to see our guys, the joy we had”, McCarthy explained, via the Green Bay Press Gazette.

“It’s one that it’s really close, and so we made the call”, Blandino said.

The Packers got one more shot to win after Detroit defensive end Devin Taylor was called for grabbing Aaron Rodgers’ facemask on a tackle on what would’ve been the last play. However, Rodgers Sr. took more joy out of what his son was able to do.

“This I think tops it. I think he’s got me”, Rock Rodgers said.

“Until that clock ticks zero, there’s no such thing as certain victory”, Caldwell said.

The Packers improved their Super Bowl odds and buried any remaining playoff hopes for the Lions with one “Hail Mary” pass on Thursday night. Prior to the second touchdown, the Detroit Lions were ahead by two points – an advantage that could have sealed their win.

“It’s tough to swallow”, Detroit receiver Golden Tate said.
