Panthers LB Davis not worried about broken arm in Super Bowl
Most eyes are on the two star players at the quarterback position, 26-year-old Cam Newton of the Panthers, and 39-year-old Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos.

Newton presents a new challenge to a Broncos defense that was dominant all season and still raised its game to another level in the AFC championship win over New England. Davis had surgery yesterday and has made noises that he has every intention of making a return in two weeks for the Super Bowl. “It’s an incredibly gracious gift”.
The wide receiver had something to prove to his former team and his big plays against the Cardinals helped propel the Panthers to the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, it was Panthers head coach Ron Rivera who officially confirmed that Davis has undergone surgery to fix the problem. The Panthers will now face the Denver Broncos at the new Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 7 for Super Bowl 50. At the very least this has to be good karma. You remember, that team with the great defense, the cocky quarterback, and the shuffling music video that rankled the Establishment?
Shane Ray fell to the Broncos in the first-round when they traded up to get him.
“I’m a fan of him”, Newton said of Miller.
Super Bowl 50 is set.
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton jokes with teammates during practice for the NFL football team in Charlotte, N.C., Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016.
“People are going to say what they want to say, and if I’m in this world living for that person who is going to say this or that, then I can’t look at myself and say I’m Cam Newton because I’d be living for (my critics)”. He should be by now because during the 2015 season, he proved to be capable of protecting the blind side of a franchise quarterback.
Carolina Panthers left tackle Michael Oher’s career got of to a slow start after he was drafted No. 23 overall in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. “Some of my experiences in coaching have shown me that when you get into certain situations like the playoffs, there can be a little self-doubt where you think, ‘Did I do enough? If you aren’t enjoying yourself, don’t play the game -it’s that simple”.

“If you really love your team, at the end of the day you’re still going to love them the same”, he said.
