Panthers not content being in Super Bowl, want to win it all

Carolina was a 49-15 victor at home against Arizona in Sunday’s second conference championship game with the victory the 17th in 18 games during the 2015 National Football League season for Rivera and Rodgers Sr. The Panthers, however, later re-extended their lead to 24-7 late in the quarter.

Recording 73 total tackles during the regular season, the seasoned defensive back is one of the main reasons that the Panthers are playing for a shot at a title and his absence could serve as a serious loss. “I ain’t missing the Super Bowl, you know that”. “But if you know Thomas, he’s a fighter, and he’s going to come back as best he can”.

Even without Davis, the Panthers managed to finish the game with seven takeaways – six of those on defense. “I’ll do everything in my power to be ready to go”.

When asked what makes him believe he can play with a broken arm, Davis replied, “I believe in me”.

Davis’ teammates praised his toughness and said it’s hard to imagine anyone trying to tell him he couldn’t play in his first Super Bowl after spending his entire career trying to reach this pinnacle.

“One of the things Coach Ditka emphasized to us was to enjoy the moment”, said Rivera Monday to ESPN.

Carolina safety Roman Harper is also questionable to return with an eye injury. However, the Carolina coach said he trusts the word of the veteran leader. From the Panthers, quarterback Cam Newton, running back Jonathan Stewart, tight end Greg Olsen, center Ryan Kalil, guard Trai Turner, fullback Mike Tolbert, linebackers Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis, defensive tackle Kawann Short, and cornerback Josh Norman won’t be going to Hawaii.
