Panthers players ‘don’t care’ if Super Bowl is Peyton Manning’s last game

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning jokes with reporters after an NFL football practice at the team’s headquarters, Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, in Englewood, Colo.

“If he were able to win (this) Super Bowl, there would be, in my opinion, zero reason to come back”, Renck said.

He tried to deflect questions regarding his comment that “it might be my last rodeo”, which was picked up by an NFL Films microphone when he spoke with Patriots coach Bill Belichick at midfield following the Broncos’ win over New England in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. “I think it’s something that you see in our team’s play and attitude”.

Both teams have stars behind center, but one of them has just come into his prime, and is beginning to become of the strongest forces in the league – Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. No confirmation on that whatsoever.

In typical Belichick fashion, Manning changed the subject, saying, “We are on to Carolina“.

That is the paradox that comes with Manning playing what could be his final National Football League game on the sport’s biggest stage on February 7 in Santa Clara, California.

“He hasn’t said anything to me”, Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said.

“The year we went to our first Super Bowl in 1992 we were the youngest team in football. But at the same time, I respect the heck out of him”. You know what Peyton Manning can do on the offensive side, so you somewhat try to compete with him on the defensive side. “I felt bad for a month-and-a-half, two months”, said wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, the lone bright spot that night in the Meadowlands when Seattle’s sideline-to-sideline supremacy rendered his Super Bowl-record 13 receptions a footnote. “And that’s the thing that we’ve got to be good at”, Rivera said.

So, with the Super Bowl already decided, you need to know that there is still plenty to be excited about. He said he spoke with a pair of rookies, first-round pick pass rusher Shane Ray and cornerback Taurean Nixon, who was called up off the practice squad two weeks ago, to tell them to appreciate this moment.

DENVER (AP) _ Before playing the game of his life, DeMarcus Ware gave a speech that inspired his Broncos teammates on the eve of their beat-down of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Everything that is in front of me I feel like I’m supposed to do, I’m supposed to conquer it, we are supposed to win, we are supposed to get Pro Bowls, we are supposed to have a MVP quarterback. If this does happen to be it, I hope he goes out on top with another Superbowl win.

“You could see everybody was focused, it really touched everybody who was in that meeting”, Talib said. Unfortunately for Manning, he did not enjoy as much success in these championship games as he did in his first, and was unable to secure a second Superbowl ring.

Here are five things Manning can do and will have to do to help lead his Broncos team to a victory in Super Bowl 50 on February 7.

“Surprised? No, nothing Peyton Manning can do will surprise me”, Simms said.

Although it took Manning close to a decade to lead the Indianapolis Colts to the big game, they did not let the opportunity pass them by.
