Panthers pulverize Cardinals, to meet Broncos in Super Bowl
The NFC Championship game turned into a very one sided affair, with memes mostly making fun of the Arizona Cardinals and especially Carson Palmer for his turnover filled game, while Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers made the most of that opportunity, moving along swimmingly to the Super Bowl.

Earlier Sunday, the Broncos beat the New England Patriots by a score of 20-18 to earn their own berth in the NFL’s championship game, set for February 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. But then the Panthers picked it as an interesting time to go for their first 2-point conversion all season. Carolina Panthers’ Cam Newton celebrates with fans after the NFL football NFC Championship game against the Arizona Cardinals, Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, in Charlotte, N.C. The Panthers won 49-15 to advance to the Super Bowl. The 49 points were the most for an NFC title game victor. Palmer threw four interceptions and lost 2 fumbles.
The Panthers welcomed the speedster back with a two-year contract – and the move paid off. Ginn caught 44 passes for 739 yards and 10 touchdowns in the regular season. It would be the second Super Bowl appearance for either club.
Just to get this far, Davis has endured three torn ACLs – injuries that limited him to just nine games from 2009-11 – and has played the best football of his career in the wake of those setbacks.
At one point, the Cardinals had turnovers on three consecutive plays: the muff, Palmer’s fumble, and Coleman’s first of two picks.
“This is about as bad a feeling as you can feel”, Palmer said.
– Luke Kuechly, Panthers, returned an interception 22 yards for a touchdown in Carolina’s 49-15 win against Arizona. “My team knew it was personal”. “I’m not going to miss the Super Bowl”.

They don’t want any part of that. “But we plan on winning”.
