Panthers snap 4-game losing streak, top Cardinals 30-20
Following the Carolina Panthers’ 30-20 win against the Arizona Cardinals, the reigning MVP had some choice words about the lack of calls from officials after being hit.

Carr drove the Raiders nine plays and 75 yards for the game-tying score in the final two minutes, a nine-yard touchdown to Mychal Rivera. With his secondary under intense fire and going up against one of the league’s more risky vertical offenses, Gettleman’s stud DT and LB tandems bailed out the defensive backs with easily the defense’s best performance of the season. Just a few plays into the game, DT Star Lotulelei stripped QB Carson Palmer and Ol’ Reliable LB Thomas Davis scooped up the fumble and eventually scored his first career touchdown. LB Chandler Jones had a sack and forced fumble in Week 7. The Panthers also limited running back David Johnson to 24 yards rushing.
Meanwhile, the Rams defense is getting healthier, and they will need that healthy depth to stop the Carolina offense. But defensive end Kony Ealy tipped Palmer’s pass and intercepted it to help seal the Carolina win.
“He had a professional approach to the game both on and off the field and in my opinion is one of the best to have played the game”, Titans general manager Jon Robinson said in a statement.
“J.J. didn’t step in”, Cardinals’ head coach Bruce Arians said after Sunday’s game. “We just got to make our plays and we’ll make our plays when it’s time for us to show up”. “We just weren’t good enough today”. However, he was sacked eight times, tossed an interception, and lost one of two fumbles. There were a couple drops, most notably from Fozzy Whittaker, that ended promising drives but they were still able to tack on two more field goals from Graham Gano to make the score 31-7.
Jonathan Stewart rushed 25 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns and caught 1-of-2 targets for 25 yards in the Panthers’ Week 8 win over the Cardinals. This was a big change from the previous six games because the defensive line had been a weak spot. “I don’t think they really threw anything different at us”.
“I did”, Davis said. It was confirmed a forward pass (later), but no one had an instant replay feed to look at it.
The loss puts the Arizona Cardinals at a paltry 3-4-1, but they somehow kept pace with the Seattle Seahawks who found a way to lose to the New Orleans Saints.
AP- Carolina’s four-game losing streak is over.
“Our offense really, really struggled after the call”, Arians said Sunday evening.
Sunday’s game in Charlotte started in similar fashion to January’s NFC championship game with the Panthers scoring on defense and jumping out to a huge early lead. The linemen open every practice working on specific techniques with offensive line coaches Harold Goodwin and Larry Zierlein.
“There is definitely some stuff we have to look at”, Palmer said.

When the play occurred, Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was adamant that his arm was moving forward.
