Parade to be held in Malvern for Remembrance Sunday service
Communities across the region will fall silent this weekend to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

This year marks 70 years since the end of the Second World War.
Services take place in Gosberton Risegate and Gosberton on Sunday.
THE district will honour the fallen 101 years after the outbreak of the First World War.
On Remembrance Sunday in Harleston, the parade will assemble in Market Place at 10.30am.
In Colwyn Bay, the town’s annual Remembrance Sunday service started at the War Memorial, Queen’s Gardens, and the service was conducted by the Reverend Christine Owen.
Firing of the Gun, Parkers Piece, November 8, 10.55am. The outdoor service starts at 10.50am with a two-minute silence at 11am.
Mayor Christine James laid a wreath on behalf of the borough followed by a US Army veteran, Lynwood Newman.
St Peter and St Paul Church, service 6.30pm.
A display of wartime photographs, memorabilia and records will be open to the public, with a service at noon. The parade sets off at 10.48am.
In Rhyl, a service was held at St Thomas’s Church followed by a parade to the town’s War Memorial Garden.
Oxhey: Remembrance Service to be held at 2.30pm at Oxhey Village Green.
The service will be taken by Reverend Steve Doel and there will be readings and wreath laying, including by the police who will attend the service. Admission is free, and there will be a retiring collection in aid of the Poppy Appeal and Wells Cathedral Music.
Ilkeston – Anyone planning to attend Ilkeston’s parade is asked to be at South Street vehicle park no later than 10.20am. Later, the mayor will take the salute during a march past and the parade will be dismissed on return to Bury Town Hall.
Poppies and crosses can be purchased from the Royal British Legion or St Mary’s Church.
Shropshire will be paying tribute to all the men and women who have died serving their country in Remembrance Sunday services.
Kilrea: Parade assembles at St. Patrick’s Parish Church Hall at 10:15am; War Memorial Service at The Diamond 10.30. In addition there will also be another service in York Square, Mexborough on Armistice Day, November 11 from 10.30am for 11am.
Skelton: Service at All Saints Parish Church at 10am, followed by a parade to the war memorial for act of remembrance and wreath-laying at 10.50am. The march will make its way to the War Memorial for the Act of Remembrance and wreath laying at 10.45am.
Contingents in Kings Hill will also gather at the old airfield control tower off Liberty Square at 10.20am before marching to the Community Centre in Gibson Drive for a 10.30am service.
Afterwards the service of remembrance in St Mary’s Church will be lead by the RBL chaplain the Reverend Geoffrey Walsh.
Other events: Peace and Remembrance Exhibition Where: Orleans House Gallery, Twickenham When: November 4 – 22 An exhibition by children on peace and remembrance will be on display during November.
The mayor will attend the afternoon Polish remembrance service at the cemetery’s Polish graves.
The parade will leave the auto park at 10.15am.
11am war memorial ceremony followed by service at Holy Trinity Church.

The Royal British Legion Club in Bexhill has its headquarters at London road and holds regular meetings and social events.
