The toy company has unveiled mini-me versions of swimmers Yip Pin Xiu and Theresa Goh, which resemble the athletes right down to their swimsuits and medals, according to LEGO Singapore’s official Facebook.

Pin Xiu is hoping to take home a second gold, if she wins the 50m backstroke, which will make her the first Singaporean to win multiple gold medals at the same Games.
“Congratulations to Yip Pin Xiu and Theresa Goh for bringing pride to Singapore!” the company said.
The toy-makers posted a photo of the swimmers’ Lego treatment to its Facebook page September 13, and it has already received over 4,000 reactions – including one from Goh herself. “Your accomplishments have inspired us all”.
Singaporeans are back at it again dishing out advice where it is needed most.
“Thank you for giving them their well-deserved recognition”, wrote Sylvia Heng on Facebook. Goh is Singapore’s first Paralympic swimmer, according to a Singapore news channel.
This was in response to SIA presenting one million KrisFlyer Miles to Joseph Schooling following his Olympic Gold medal win at Rio 2016 just a month ago.
Others suggested Lego sell the figurines to raise money and drum up support for other disabled athletes.
Though fans are eager to get their hands on the adorable figurines, LEGO told the BBC that there are now no plans to put the toys up for sale.
Lego has launched a five piece Paralympics set to “celebrate sporting achievement and overcome adversity”.
