Mumbai: Ajay Devgn has announced the domestic release date of his upcoming production “Parched”.

The film has received critical acclaim and already won several accolades across global film festivals. It traces the bittersweet tale of four ordinary women Rani, Lajjo, Bijli and Janaki who break free of century-old traditions of servitude and patriarchy.
Ajay took to twitter to announce the details of the film.
18 awards, 24 global film festivals across continents.
Ajay, who also is gearing up for the grand release of his ambitious self-starring directorial ‘Shivaay, ‘ also divulged that the trailer of the film will be released on September 9.
Notably, the film has already been showcased in 24 International Film Festivals and has bagged an outstanding number of 18 awards. It shows how sexually obsessed a lot of people in our society are.
“Parched” also stars Tannishtha Chatterjee, Surveen chawla and Adil Hussain. It only shows that we are extremely obsessed about sex and yet we don’t want to talk about it.

The film was hit by a controversy recently when a nude scene between Apte and actor Adil Hussain had gone viral on social networking sites.
