Paris bomber’s mom says son innocent, blew himself up due to stress
Two days after the Paris attacks, the French capital is a city in mourning – and on edge – with key questions looming: Do suspects remain at large?

Interpol has confirmed it has set up a “crisis response task force” at its headquarters in southeastern France following deadly attacks in Paris. Such travel includes leave, liberty and special pass, and the ban applies to United States military personnel, DoD civilian employees, contractors and command-sponsored dependents and family members, according to the EUCOM website.
A Greek police source said the passport’s owner was a young man who had arrived in Leros on a small vessel from Turkey with a group of 69 refugees and had his fingerprints taken by Greek officials.
Hadfi’s role in the attacks is not yet known, the Washington Post reports. However, Belgian public broadcaster RTBF said he was not arrested. One police official said the Seat dropped off the brother of Abdelslam who blew himself up at Au Comptoir Voltaire restaurant. An unnamed official told the Associated Press that Abaaoud also was linked to the attempted attack on a train from Amsterdam to Paris in August that was stopped by passengers.
The Paris attackers are believed to have communicated with the Islamic State in Syria using encryption technology, the NY Times reports.
More details have emerged about the IS attack which was the worst terrorist outrage in Europe for more than a decade, leaving at least 129 dead and 350 wounded.
Lawyers for the men have said they are innocent and got caught up in the case because they drove to Paris early on Saturday to fetch Salah Abdeslam, now a prime suspect on the run, after he called them to say his vehicle broke down. The AP reported Molenbeek’s mayor said the siege ended without any injuries.
– Twenty-three people are in custody and weapons, including a rocket launcher, and IT equipment have been seized after more than 150 police anti-terror raids were carried out in cities across France since Friday, said French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, who has ordered 104 people be put under house arrest.
French national Mostefai, 29, was the first attacker named in connection to the Paris attacks after French authorities identified him through a finger recovered from the Bataclan concert hall.
French authorities have identified several suspected attackers, most with links to France or Belgium. Both had previously been flagged as potential terrorists.
– Samy Amimour, 28, was another of the suicide bombers at the music venue. One of his brothers had detonated a suicide vest down the street from the theater; another was ultimately detained in Belgium, officials said.
Overnight, France launched its heaviest air strikes yet on Islamic State’s de-facto capital in Syria.
The officials also said that a sleeper cell in France then met the attackers after their training and helped them to execute the plan.
“There might be accomplices in France”, Manuel Valls told France Info Radio.
