Paris-bound flight from San Francisco diverted due to bomb threat

An Air France Boeing 777 flying from San Francisco International Airport to Paris was diverted to Montreal late Monday evening due to a reported bomb threat.

Two Paris-bound flights from the United States – one from Los Angeles and one from Washington, D.C. – were diverted on November 17 because of false bomb threats.

“Local authorities carry out inspections”. Officials at the Montreal Airport told Canadian media the flight was carrying 231 passengers and 15 crew members. It said it would take all measures to send passengers safely to their destinations. “Flight landed normally”, Air France said on Twitter. He said once the plane had landed, the pilot said authorities would have to do a thorough security check of the plane and passengers and that everyone would have to disembark. The flight was en route to Paris from San Francisco.
