Paris Mayor Describes Trump as ‘Very Stupid’
London’s new Muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan, slammed Donald Trump as “ignorant” after the presumptive Republican nominee suggested the mayor would be exempted from his proposal to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States.

This past week, Trump said that “there will always be exceptions” to this ban, like for newly elected London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who then rejected Trump’s offer.
To recall, Trump proposed “a total and complete” travel ban on foreign Muslims to visit America “until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on”, NBC News reported.
Speaking to NBC, Khan again said Trump’s views on Islam were “ignorant” and that he’s “inadvertently playing into the hands of extremists”.
Khan has said his election last week shows that whilst “Donald Trump and those around him think that Western liberal values are incompatible with mainstream Islam”, London “has proved him wrong”.
The presumed Republican presidential candidate in December proposed a ban on Muslims entering the country, days after terrorists killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California. “And I think that, you know, that’s not the America that I know and love”, he said.
Khan is the first Muslim mayor of any Western capital.
Clinton congratulated Khan for his win in a tweet Saturday, writing: “Son of a Pakistani bus driver, champion of workers’ rights and human rights, and now Mayor of London”.
“I’m the father of two daughters, and a proud feminist in city hall. I’m confident that Donald Trump’s approach to politics won’t win in America”.
His earlier comments against Trump are obvious and sensible but in hoping that Hillary trounces Trump, he has exhibited the same intolerance towards people with opposing view- points, something unbecoming of a statesman and something that he has accused Trump of.

Hidalgo had previously threatened legal action against Fox News for its claims that Paris had created “no-go” zones for Muslims following the Charlie Hebdo attack.
