Even before Gunner Page’s death, 24th District Attorney General Matthew Stowe ordered the TBI to look into the circumstances of the case.
During the investigation, the TBI says agents found information leading them to conclude the boy’s father, Paris police officer Christopher Warren Page, was responsible for his death.
Five days before, on September 2, Henry County EMS logs show medics responded to a call for help at the Pages’ home on Howard Road in Puryear because a 3-month-old wasn’t breathing.
Page was being held without bond at the Carroll County Jail.
The infant was the son of Paris police officer Christopher Page. He was charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated child abuse.

The investigation into the incident continues, with the assistance of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
