Saphirnews, a Muslim news website in French, reported on Sunday that French Muslims were once again becoming “collateral victims of terrorism”. Islamic State militants targeted innocent people, people who were watching an Eagles of Death Metal concert, people who were watching a football game, people who were eating out.
Hollande called the attacks as “an act of war” that were organised from overseas by the ISIS militants with internal help, reported ABC.
“May God Almighty grant patience to them all and I hope and pray that perpetrators of this evil act are swiftly brought to justice”.
Muslim kids could also face bullying, Ricci said, suggesting that parents confront anti-Muslim comments when they come across them in person or on social media.
He said Australian Muslims were as shocked and shaken as the rest of the Australian community at the senseless killing of innocence. “There, they killed the humanity 128 times”.
“Islam teaches us the sacredness and dignity of human life”.
In the aftermath of Friday’s terrorist attack in Paris that saw 129 people die at the hands of radical Islam, there will be plenty of attempts on the left to stress that the carnage is not representative of the Islamic religion.
Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community aren’t fearful of any retaliation locally because of what happened overseas, “Overall I think we’re still in a very safe place and people are not out there to harm you”, adds Ahmad. He says it imperative that he and other Muslims let the world know Islam is a peaceful religion and ISIS and other terrorist groups do not follow the doctrine.
They said as terrorism does not discriminate against its victims based on beliefs or race, neither should the world in responding to such horrific acts of violence.
