“He wants to go out there and meet with some of these big names, I understand that, too, but he also has some restricted free agents who I think teams are going to try to poach”. Now it’s the Grizzlies’ turn to show Conley that they’re all-in with him.
Parsons’ addition also underscores the franchise’s commitment to improving the roster around unrestricted free-agent point guard Mike Conley, the organization’s top offseason priority, should he choose to re-sign this summer.

As Conley notes in his column, the Grizzlies are often overlooked. While many fans might view his contract as Parsons getting overpaid, the National Basketball Association landscape is changing in a massive way.
