Partly sunny, cold Saturday in store for Billings area

After high clouds and a cold start to this morning, we’ll enjoy mostly sunny skies and highs near 50 this afternoon. There are chances of rain and snow during the afternoon. Winds: NW 10-20 miles per hour.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy skies and frigid temperatures will be around for the end of the weekend, with a cold high temperature of 35 degrees. West wind 6 to 8 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 11.

Low tides: 9:25 a.m. and 9:54 p.m. Driving conditions may become hazardous Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening due to snow covered roads and reduced visibilties.

Tuesday: A chance of rain before 11 a.m., then a chance of showers after 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. Winds: Northeast 5-12 miles per hour. The next chance (20 percent) for a few showers and thunderstorms returns Wednesday night, sticking around Thanksgiving Day. The winds will also pick up today, mainly from the north between 15 and 25 miles per hour, with higher gusts.

Today: Cloudy, with a high near 47. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

There is a slight chance for rain Friday night in central Oklahoma. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 26 and west southwest winds of 10 to 16 miles per hour. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
