“I thought, ‘Write a hit, you’ll be rich and happy.’ Meet one of the most attractive girls in the world, one of the most talented, and I’ll be happy”.
“I thought, ‘Write a hit, you’ll be rich and happy, ‘” he adds.
Touching on the drama, he said: “I regret how it went down”.
PND admitted her recent break-up from National Basketball Association star Kyrie Irving and then their instant hook up still had him feeling awkward. I look into people’s eyes, and I know they think I’m a bad guy.
Jahron, who helped pen Rihanna’s hit Work, had hoped writing a hit would make him feel rich and happy and he would “meet one of the most lovely girls in the world, one of the most talented, and I’ll be happy”. The photo caused backlash against Kehlani, who many believed was still dating Irving at the time.
“I tried this year to make the party songs”.
The 23-year-old says, “It was a blue year for me”. The rekindling of the relationship came after their 2015 breakup which led to PND releasing a song named after Kehlani – “Kehlani’s Freestyle”. All of that: “I’m not happy”.
