The pastor of a black church in Flint, Michigan, put Donald trump in his place on Wednesday after interrupting his tirade on Hillary Clinton in her church. “Not to give a political speech”. “In order to save a small amount of money, they redo the whole thing, and now it’s a disaster”, he said, referring to the state appointed emergency manager’s decision to swap Detroit’s water supply in favor of improperly treated Flint River water.

Trump stopped at the Flint water plant during his visit to the city on Wednesday, but did not focus on the water crisis while speaking at the church.

During his Wednesday remarks in Flint, Trump told the gathered crowd that it seems Flint has reversed roles with Mexico. He had spent more time in the state than almost any other candidate.

Trump visited the traditionally African American church in the impoverished city to pay tribute to the city’s resiliency. “Hillary Clinton -” Trump said.

In a prepared statement distributed prior to Trump’s speech, Timmons said the United Methodist is an “open communion table: all are invited to partake”. He was also expected to speak about the gains the citizens of Flint had made for themselves in the wake of the discovery of the toxic water supply. “Second we’re going to repair our highways and bridges”, he continued as the panel began to laugh,”And Flint Michigan is an example of when there’s a water crisis, we’re going to fix it!”

He toured a water treatment plant that’s been shut down since past year. “Give me a break”.

“Their hypocrisy on this issue is easy to see”, she said in a statement.

But his remarks were cut short – he spoke for just over five minutes – after protesters interrupted his speech with questions about housing discrimination.
