Murray also touched on how No Man’s Sky will change in the future, hinting that the current exploration and survival game mechanics may make way for bigger plans. Other improvements include the ability to adjust the softness of the mouse, as well as other compatibility and performance improvements for certain components and equipment configurations.
“Patch just out for PC version – Steam and GoG”. The title offers us a whole universe to explore where you have to survive, trade or fight between planets, galaxies and universes. The patch for PC and PS4 are now available for downloading, but the patch notes have yet to be released. PC players seem to be enjoying more frames per second than they did before the patch. “Then we’ll move onto improving and adding features to the game”, Murray explained, so we’ve still got a potentially long wait to endure until we see the previously mentioned base-building and freight ship ownership features mentioned previously introduced.
Murray tweeted that less than one percent of players have raised support issues, but 70 percent of issues would be fixed with this patch.
No Man’s Sky has received its first major update.
Sean Murray says that he and his team are completely focused on customer support for the time being, as new and interesting bug are discovered by players in the ever evolving universe that is No Man’s Sky. “It’s pretty insane for us how many people are playing”, he adds via Twitter.
