Patrick Bamford ends Palace loan stay according to reports
Despite picking up a point and moving to fifth in the Barclays Premier League, above Manchester United who dropped to sixth after their 2-0 loss to Stoke, Pardew was not completely happy with his side’s performance at the Vitality Stadium.

Bamford said Monday that he will end his loan spell at Crystal Palace in January and return to Chelsea, the Croydon Advertiser reports.
“I thought they were terrific because we had to lean on them a little bit today – so resilient, so organised that back four and the goalie”.
It may be that Swansea, who are in need of a striker, could move for a player who has scored a number of goals in the Football League and wants an opportunity to prove himself in the top flight.
“I would have been more content if I had been given a chance and not taken it”. He (Swarbrick) had an indifferent game for me.
“Nobody’s said anything to me, we’re just carrying on as normal”, said Curtis of the club’s ongoing managerial search. We lacked a bit of imagination and flair.
Swansea climbed above Newcastle and Norwich in moving out of the bottom three and Curtis feels examining the league table will give everyone at the club a lift.
“Patrick nine times out of ten would have buried that and we’d have got three points”.
The former Wales worldwide, who was taking charge of the team for the fourth time since the departure of Garry Monk, praised the players he brought in.
“We know it’s going to be another tough game, so we must show the same character we did against West Brom”.

As the game entered the dying stages another substitute went close when Jordon Mutch embarked on a nice run from the halfway line and hit a shot from just outside the area but was unlucky to see if bounce wide of the far upright, and as the Eagles pushed forward again looking for a victor Wilfried Zaha beat Kyle Naughton inside the box and attempted to bend the ball into the far corner was had to watch it fly just off target.
