Patriots activate Brandon LaFell from PUP list, eligible
LaFell has missed the start of the season with a foot injury. “The only thing I’ve been doing for the last couple months is rehabbing and lifting weights”. LaFell said “it is up to Bill Belichick”. Apparently the Patriots feel LaFell is ready. He has not yet been officially activated to the 53-man roster, but the possibility remains that he’s given a jersey when the Jets come to town this weekend.

Defensive tackle Chris Jones and linebacker Dane Fletcher remain on the PUP list. First place takes home $100,000!
The receiver, known to teammates as JoJo, said being ready for Week 1 wasn’t an option but he thought it would be earlier than now. LaFell is now expected to play in New England’s Week 7 matchup with the New York Jets after participating in practice during the week. “We got guys that can step in and make plays and I can just get fully healthy”.

Looking at tomorrow’s game, LaFell will help occupy either Darrelle Revis or Antonio Cromartie, which will give Edelman and Gronkowski even more favorable matchups.
