Patriots’ Amendola expected to miss Sunday night’s game
ESPN’s Jeff Legwold broke down five reasons the Broncos can beat the Patriots on Sunday Night Football, and it all starts with the Patriots’ injury report.

Collins, who returned to practice Friday for the first time since November 6, will miss his fourth straight game with an undisclosed illness. Keshawn Martin, questionable with a hamstring injury, should also contribute.
Amendola suffered the injury in the third quarter of New England’s victory over the Buffalo Bills Monday.
Without Amendola and injured No. 1 receiver Julian Edelman (foot), the Patriots (10-0) are going to Denver without two of their top three players on the receiver depth chart.
If, as expected, Amendola doesn’t travel to Colorado, the Patriots will be (or at least should be) issuing an updated injury report downgrading Amendola from questionable to out.
That leaves veteran Brandon LaFell and undrafted free agent Chris Harper as New England’s lone healthy receivers.

NESN’s Doug Kyed reported that the Patriots elevated tight end Asante Cleveland from the practice squad.
