Patriots DL Chandler Jones admitted, released at hospital
“Chandler Jones was admitted to the hospital on Sunday and released that day”.

“I want to start off by saying I made a pretty stupid mistake this weekend”, Jones said Thursday. I can just Xerox you a copy of the gameplan [so you can] send it to Kansas City.
Chandler Jones had a bad reaction to synthetic marijuana that caused him to show up at the Foxboro police station on Sunday morning.
Two officers – one ending a shift and the other starting work – were outside the police department chatting and watched a shirtless Jones “scurry” through a police cruiser parking lot early Sunday morning, the memo states. He said the only time the police file reports about medical issues is when someone dies.
The Boston Herald reached out to Foxboro Police Chief Edward T. O’Leary, who said no police report exists for the incident because the department doesn’t file paperwork for medical calls unless someone dies.
The Globe has reported that Jones was using synthetic marijuana, and that when police arrived at Jones residence it smelled like burnt weed.
The pass rusher did not miss any practice time due to the situation.
Foscaldo said Jones eventually moved toward the ground where, “honestly, it appeared as if he was actively praying or worshiping”.
He refused to speak on Jones further and wouldn’t even acknowledge whether or not he will play this weekend. The rescue said they were taking Jones “ALS”, which stands for advanced life support. That doesn’t change the fact that he said no officers met with Jones when five actually did, but it’s the reasoning he gave. “We issued a statement on that, and I really don’t have anything to add to it”, Belichick said.
It continued a spiral into oddity on Thursday, with Jones and Patriots coach Bill Belichick (he of the very notable black eye he doesn’t want to talk about) meeting with the media. “It might be easier for all of us”.
“This man suddenly made a “b-line” for our police station’s rear door”, Foscaldo wrote.
Jones won’t face much punishment from the National Football League if this is his first offense.

Jones was released later that day and reported to Monday’s practice, where he participated fully, according to a statement from the Patriots.
