Patriots’ wide out Aaron Dobson exits with ankle injury against Bills
We’d expect the New England Patriots to rule the wideout out for Sunday night’s game against the Broncos later this week, and beyond that it’s plausible he will miss additional time.

Amendola had an MRI Tuesday and was diagnosed with a knee sprain, according to a CSNNE report. Amendola led receivers in Monday’s win over the Bills as he filled in for Edelman.
Amendola was cast as the No. 1 receiver on Monday because Julian Edelman is out with a foot injury. With Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning probably out for Sunday’s game, the Patriots’ biggest obstacle running the table could be the lengthy injury list that has forced them to reshuffle their offensive line and receiving corps.
Fellow wide receiver Aaron Dobson, who suffered an ankle injury, was not at the walkthrough.
“They’ve been really good, hard to run against and very disruptive in the passing game, so that creates second- and third-and-long obviously, ” coach Bill Belichick said Thursday. I don’t think there was any… the last thing I’m doing in the middle of the first quarter is trying to tweak Rex. “So guys can never get comfortable in the situation”. He made the most of his limited time on the field which could now increase after he proved himself as a reliable replacement to Lewis. We had some other names that we could have used on other plays as they relate to the Buffalo Bills. “Every game we play from here on out is not going to be easy”.

It does however, show that the Patriots believe there is at least a chance that Amendola will be ready to go.
