Curry had scored just his 40th point Wednesday, capping his night with an eye-popping 28 points in the third quarter in the Warriors’ 116-99 win at Charlotte that improved their record to 20-0.

Walker was clearly frustrated, thinking the Hornets finally got a stop, only to realize their best player was wide open for one of the most efficient shots in basketball.

D DEFENSE: You can’t do much about Curry’s absurd shooting range, but the Hornets gave up eight offensive rebounds before halftime.

“He knows the ball’s going in before the rest of us”, Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said. “You expect to make them”. Green scored just four points, but had 11 rebounds, nine assists and three blocks. “I felt like he may not have a great start, but once he got a feel for the game, he would ride the wave”, Fraser told ESPN.

“But the shots I took, I’ve said it before, are the ones I practised”. “Do not ruin my night”, his father, Dell, joked on the broadcast. Fifteen of those twenty-one points were in the first quarter, and Thompson was integral in developing an early lead over the Hornets. They rank second in the league, slightly behind the Knicks, holding opponents to 30.1 percent shooting on 3-pointers. Kemba Walker struggled to find his shot in the first half missing four shots in the first quarter. Defensively, the Hornets yield 98.8 points against the opposing teams. The Hornets were without C Al Jefferson (left calf strain) and expect Jefferson to miss at least two weeks….

The Warriors extended their record for consecutive wins to begin a season, and made it 26 straight wins overall dating to last season.
