The Great British Bake Off is not done yet.
The 83-year-old culinary expert has judged the baked creations of competitors on the programme since it debuted on the BBC in 2010.
Like Mel and Sue, Mary Berry citing how the BBC spent years nurturing the show into the massive hit it is today, without saying outright that it’s government funding that the tories would see cut that produced programming like this, and that seeing it snatched up by the highest bidder was against her principles.
“Since I was a kid, baking has been part of my life”. She said she was “just said for the audience who may not be ready for change”.

He signed a contract for three years with the show after Channel 4 paid £25 million a year to poach it from BBC One.
She said it was out of “loyalty” to the BBC, which lost the broadcasting rights in a recent bidding war with Channel 4.
Tandoh, who starred in the 2013 series, was accused of “flirting” with Hollywood during her time on the show.
“I just couldn’t turn my back on all that – the bakers themselves, the bakes, the team that makes it, and of course the tent, the bunting, and who could forget… the squirrels”.
Berry’s announcement is the latest in a series of shocks for the show’s legion of fans, after news emerged last week that the BBC would no longer be screening the cookery competition following “unaffordable” financial demands from the show’s production company.
