Paul McCartney just premiered a new music video for the 2015 remix of his classic 1983 collaboration with Michael Jackson, “Say Say Say”.

It was directed by Ryan Heffington.

As his journey continues, the boy barges into a bodega and brings out the youthful, rhinestone-studded luster of an elderly woman before making his way to a backroom where the festivities are already underway.

Echoes/Redferns Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson teamed up for “Say Say Say” in 1983. The track appears on the bonus disc included with the expanded versions of Sir Paul’s newly reissued 1983 solo album, Pipes of Peace, and features previously unused vocals from the original recording sessions.

But not only is this a remix, the new version of the song features never-before-heard audio from both Paul and Michael! “Anyway, we had a joke about that kind of thing, and he said, ‘Yeah, I’d like to come over and write with you”, so I said great.

Just because Michael Jackson isn’t with us anymore, doesn’t mean that he can’t still release music. “I thought, well, it’s not easy to just sit down with anyone you don’t know and just write, start songwriting because you’ve got to get the chemistry right”, Paul explains. “‘Are you sure… Michael who?,'” McCartney said. Paul figured if the songs weren’t good, they would just be thrown away.
