Paul Pogba completes record transfer to Manchester United from Juventus
The structure of the deal was argued out in the course of two meetings between Woodward and Andrea Agnelli, the Juventus president, both of which were strategically held away from Turin and Manchester to avoid more publicity.

The sum, equivalent to 89 million pounds, smashes the 85 million pounds for the transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, “thus making Pogba the most valuable player in the sport’s history”, Juventus said. “What he has to learn now is how to play with us because I -always say that in football you can be a super player, like he is, but a team is a team and you need to learn how to play in the team, and the team needs to learn how to play with you”.
Mourinho hit back immediately at those comments, saying: “You are right, he (Klopp) was one of them (who had spoken) but I don’t comment. So I was thinking ‘why not?’ I’m sure he can make me improve and make me a better player and a better person”.
“It was a mistake to let him leave but bringing him back is a statement of intent”, added the former England central defender who joined United for a then British record fee of £29.1m in 2002.
Pogba could make his second debut for United in their first game of the new English Premier League season at Bournemouth on Sunday.
“In a ideal world, the core values of United are to play entertaining football, to bring kids through, homegrown players, and to win things”. “First my mum told me I would come back here and I told her, ‘You never know, you’ll see'”. When we play Manchester United against Chelsea, he was repeating the same, we are so different and for me to get a team under his ideas for two years, we are in the moment with some functional contradictions. In the upcoming season, they will have to settle with playing in the Europa League. The same agent, Mino Raiola, represents Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and Pogba.
Ferguson once claimed the Frenchman had left Old Trafford “not showing us any respect at all” and the lingering bad feeling certainly counted against Pogba when David Moyes was in charge.
Pogba had signed for United on a three-year deal with a one-year renewal option which then United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was keen to activate but the 18-year-old was frustrated by a lack of first-team opportunities at the club and made a decision to leave.
“Juventus have built a good team”, the Bosnian worldwide said.

‘When you add the new signings to the players we already had at the club – the youngsters like Martial and Rashford should improve again this season and the top-class global players – it looks a nicely balanced squad at this moment in time, ‘ he said.
