Paul Pogba ‘is not worth £86 million’ says Paul Scholes
Pogba is still absent from pre-season training with current club Juventus following his exertions with France at Euro 2016.

Mourinho has reportedly made French worldwide Pogba his top transfer target as he bids to make a big impact in his first season at Old Trafford but it could cost the club a record-breaking £100 million ($130 million, 119 million euros) to land the midfielder.
Scholes, who is now playing in a five-a-side tournament in India, is not convinced it would be a good investment on United’s part, even though he rated Pogba when they briefly played together at United five years ago.
Manchester United have asked about the availability of Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci during the negotiations for Paul Pogba, according to ESPN.
Paul Pogba’s potential world record transfer to Manchester United isn’t finalised yet, the Juventus midfielder’s agent said on Thursday.
Speaking ahead of Man United’s ICC clash with Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai, the Portuguese cheekily revealed that with the three players he had gotten (Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and Bailly), 75% of his transfer business was done.
“He is a very good player if he can stay fit”, he added.
“I am not going to try to make you naive and believe that we are not trying for one player”.
Real Madrid’s entry into the race for Pogba appears to pour cold water on reports that the reigning European champions would not compete with United’s financial firepower in a bid to sign the 23-year-old star. I think certainly there has been a lot of improvement.
“We just have 25 per cent to do before the 31st of August, so we are in great conditions to have what I would consider a good market for us”.
“This is an issue I don’t want to talk about”, Allegri said when quizzed on Pogba’s future.

“I think it affects a lot”.
