So after weeks of speculation, it appears that the game of cat and mouse has begun and with the seemingly inevitable conclusion that is the return of the France worldwide back to Old Trafford, the only questions left are when and for how much.

Raiola is now in Manchester to talk with the United management to formulate an official transfer bid which the club will submit to the Old Lady. Mourinho and Raiola is believed to have a special friendship in between them, which is why the Special One is assured that the deal will eventually push through.

Gazzetta dello Sport says the Red Devils have upped their offer to £105m for the Juventus superstar.

The deal is expected to be finalised before the end of July, with the player hinting at a return to the club he has described as his “first family”.

Pogba craves Champions League football, which he already has at Juve and could get at defending champions Real.

“We have grown in terms of appeal and awareness of our own capabilities. So far our market this summer has been eight out of 10, bringing in players of worldwide pedigree like Medhi Benatia, Dani Alves and Miralem Pjanic”.
