Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said his team are the ideal one for Paul Pogba to build his case as the best footballer in the world as the Frenchman closes in on a record transfer from Juventus back to Old Trafford.

However, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri put the deal under scrutiny on Saturday, 7 August, after revealing that the midfielder was expected to return to Italy on Monday, following the end of his holidays in America. I don’t think he meant to do it, but it just happened. Manchester United says Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical examination to finalize his transfer to the English club from Juventus.

“Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalise his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United”, United confirmed. “All I know is that he is a big player who is going to be important for United”.
“The Premier League is the ideal habitat for that”.
“If you want to be the best player in the world, if you go to Barcelona or Real Madrid you are in trouble because I don’t think the other two big guys [Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo] will let you do it”. Hopefully everything goes well in the medical, which I think it will.
“I don’t think Real were upset when they broke the record with Gareth Bale or Cristiano (Ronaldo)”. It’s wonderful such a good player is with us and he comes to a winning side – a side that won the last two matches in the FA Cup final and the Community Shield.

Early signs that a deal was imminent came when Pogba didn’t travel with the Juventus squad to London for their 3-2 friendly win against West Ham United on Sunday. “I am happy we have for the next six weeks only one match a week because we can work a lot”.
Paul Pogba’s move from Juventus to Manchester United could be confirmed as early as Tuesday.
Pogba was giving little away when he wrote on Twitter: “When too many people talk nobody understands.talk very soon”.
Pogba left United to join Juventus in 2012, reportedly for 800,000 pounds (now $1.05 million) in compensation.

The club haven’t been able to offer their new signings Champions League football this year, but have still attracted some of the biggest names in football to Old Trafford with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba – even fending off the likes of Real Madrid to secure the Frenchman’s services.
