Former England star Gary Lineker claims Manchester United’s world record signing of France midfielder Paul Pogba is a “watershed moment” for the Premier League.

While Mourinho feels the “unbelievable” Pogba “has everything”, he has stressed it may take time before the 23-year-old France worldwide is fully firing in the United side and has vowed to “protect” him if needed.
However, the fact remains that Manchester United’s owners, fans and manager, Jose Mourinho, will demand the club challenge for the title this season.

Mourinho had already described comments from the likes of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp about United’s transfer business as “unethical”, and he returned to the subject on Tuesday in an MUTV interview.

“He is young and will continue to improve”, Mourinho said. “He is going to be a top player for years to come and he will make a big difference to United’s title chances”.
