Paul Pogba to Man United
“Pogba is nowhere near worth that kind of money yet”.

Sky in Italy say Manchester United have had an £85million bid for their former player rejected by Juventus and Payet is well accustomed with Pogba after a summer playing alongside him for France in Euro 2016.
“For his age, he was asking for far too much money, for a player who hadn’t played first-team football”.
Scholes is a fan of Pogba’s abilities but feels such a hefty price tag would suggest he is at the same level as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and he does not believe the France worldwide can be considered as good as the Barcelona and Real Madrid stars just yet.
While the former Manchester United midfielder believes Pogba is a good player, for the reported fee he believes United should get “a player who will score 50 goals a season”.
However, Scholes was astounded at the fact that Pogba could cost so much and stated that only the likes of Ballon d’Or winners Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo could command such an astronomical sum in the transfer market. I also think he is great value for the money Manchester City paid for him.
“First of all because I don’t think it’s correct to speak about players of other clubs, and he is a Juventus player not a Man United player”. “I have seen a lot of him with Dortmund”.
Scholes told Sports Witness: “We don’t know about Zlatan” as “he is 34 and probably going to play only for a year”.

The Portuguese boss could be forced to move down his list of midfield targets to a second choice if Juventus aren’t bluffing with their determination to hold onto Pogba. “We have three faces that fill that profile and I’m really confident that [Ed] Woodward and the owners will bring me that profile of player that I think the squad needs to have a good balance”.
