Paul Pogba to Manchester United happening; Transfer update on the Frenchman
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with a return to Old Trafford this summer.

British outlets add to the fire, with The Independent stating that United have delayed announcing their squad numbers for the 2016/17 season, with Pogba’s future up in the air.
It’s understood that £13m of that world-record-breaking proposal will be paid in add-ons, but even if these fees were to not materialise over time, Pogba would still leapfrog Gareth Bale, who cost nearly £86m in 2013, to become the most expensive footballer ever.
While the Italian champions want to offer Pogba a new deal, his agent is set to place Manchester United’s offer, believed to be worth more than €100m, on their table.
Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward hasn’t travelled to China for the club’s pre-season tour, as the Premier League giants try to secure the world record capture of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
Juve have won four consecutive Serie A titles with Pogba in the side as well as two Coppa Italia crowns and finished runners-up in the 2015 Champions League final to Barcelona.
United officials are expected to meet Juve directors and Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola this week in a bid to thrash out a deal.
Meanwhile, United are also looking to ship out players to make room for the transfer, with Juan Mata, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Morgan Schneiderlin all set to be on their way out of the club.
‘I am calm about the English rumours, ‘ Allegri told Gazzetta dello Sport.
