Paul PogbaPaul Pogba transfer fee ‘crazy’ – Arsene Wenger
Paul Pogba’s agent has insisted that despite numerous reports of his client’s agreement with Manchester United nearing completion, nothing has been finalised.

Paul Pogba is due back from his post-Euro 2016 holiday early in the week when he is expected to finally complete the formatlities on his world record £112m move back to Old Trafford.
Wenger also admitted that he personally thought transfer fees had reached a plateau and wouldn’t continue to rise beyond the level set by Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Real Madrid in 2009, only to be proven wrong.
Wenger was speaking at a news conference ahead of Sunday’s preseason game against Mexican club Chivas in Los Angeles. There is always a wave of opinions.
“It is completely insane if you can not afford to pay it”, Wenger said in a Press conference. Nobody ever could calculate. “Actually media is proving themselves, how much they are bad”.
“Maybe in a few years’ time we’ll be talking about fees of 200 or 300million…”
Defenders Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Tim Fosu-Mensah, Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair, midfielders Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira and forwards James Wilson and Will Keane make up the nine players whom Mourinho reportedly has no room for in the coming season.
“I can see why Mourinho said ‘listen, he’s going to be playing up top”, because that’s where Rooney is good.
“Certainly I don’t count that Per will be back before the end of the year”. And if it will happen, then it will be a new record at transfer market.

Wenger again declined to comment on specific transfer targets, with Arsenal having been repeatedly linked with players like Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
