Paul Ryan: Only Endorsements I Want Are From Voters

“I like Paul, but these are terrible times for our country”. He then shifted gears to praise Trump, who he said will “support our military and their families” and “defeat the enemies of our freedom”.

“I’m suggesting we have a discussion about it – that’s for sure”.

“What unites us in these United States”, Pence said Tuesday in Tucson, “is so much more powerful than what could ever divide us; our belief in freedom, our belief in individual responsibility, our belief in the boundless capacity of every individual to live out their dreams, and our belief since before this nation was founded that we are one nation under god, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.

But he also admitted frustration with Trump’s campaign since the conclusion of the RNC.

Trump, mirroring the language Ryan used about supporting the nominee before his eventual endorsement, told the newspaper he was “not quite there yet” on endorsing Ryan in next Tuesday’s Wisconsin primary, and that he had “never been there” with McCain, who will be on the ballot in primary elections in Arizona later this month.

The Arizona Senator is standing firm in his support for the nominee, even after Trump said he wouldn’t endorse McCain in his Senate race.

Nehlen is a longshot to upset Ryan in the primary.

“America’s greatness is built on the principle of liberty and preserved by the men and women who wear the uniform to defend it”, said Ryan.

Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence is telling a North Carolina crowd that Donald Trump’s politically incorrect style shows he’s the genuine article and distinctly American.

As for Ryan, Pence described him to reporters Thursday as “a very close personal friend” and said he “felt very strongly about endorsing his re-election”.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus called Donald Trump Tuesday to express frustration with the presidential candidate’s campaign and how he has handled his feud with the family of a slain Muslim American soldier, according to several party sources familiar with the conversation. And I’m just not quite there yet.

“Of course, he’s going to work with Paul Ryan”, Manafort said Trump has “tried to bridge the party together” with Ryan.

The event, with more than twice the number of media than protesters, came during the quiet August congressional break in Washington but amid a firestorm of attention for Trump’s campaign, caught in a series of scandals in the wake of the Democratic convention in Philadelphia a week earlier.

“He had all sorts of opportunities – what he did was put someone on the ballot to run with him that wasn’t just a good political pick; he put someone on the ballot who could govern”, Walker said. I don’t want to do this. “It is distressing that this is not what we’re talking about these days”.

“I would say in the last couple of weeks, he has been remarkably underperforming and we’ll see whether or not he can take a deep breath and learn these lessons”, said former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Fox Business News.
