“We’re hearing a large amount of people who say they aren’t going to come out and vote”, Frazier said.
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan were a team in 2012, leading the Republican ticket in the fall presidential campaign. Now there is only one, Donald Trump, and anything Ryan or any other prominent Republican says has to be viewed through the prism of how it affects or is affected by Trump’s race for president. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has expressed unusually personal criticism focusing on the judge’s Mexican heritage.
“I hope he’ll change his direction on that”, McConnell said.
This comes a day after Ryan endorsed Trump as the next president of the United States. “And it is clear that is far more likely to happen under a Trump presidency than a Clinton presidency”. “‘A Hispanic can not judge a case against me.’ That is what he Trump is saying”, Megyn Kelly said.
“Don’t be so sure the two-party political system continues long-term”, he said. “I hope it’s not”.
Following the same logic, Trump said he didn’t think a Muslim judge could be fair to him because of his desire to temporarily block Muslims from entering the country.
